Benjamin Scherer Quesada

I was born in 1979 in Königstein / Taunus, Germany, and have lived in Spain, France, and the Netherlands. After having studied with Prof. Zakhar Bron at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, I continued my studies in Holland with Prof. Herman Krebbers and completed my Master at the Amsterdam Conservatory as a student of Prof. Ilya Grubert. Later I have specialized in the interpretation of early music with baroque violin at the Conservatoire de Paris with Prof. Patrick Bismuth.

I’m devoted to chamber music and have collaborated with various ensembles and orchestras in Europe and the United States. Currently I’m Assistant Principal in the Valencian Community Orchestra
